About Kimberly
You have incredible insight and intelligence, and you’re looking for career support that validates your unique qualities while providing you room to discover new, aligned paths with purpose, meaning, and joy.
You’re in good company here, and I’d love to support your career journey as an HSP!
My Philosophy About Highly Sensitive People
HSPs have inner strength. You’re not weak because you feel so deeply. Highly sensitive people who embrace their inner world with honesty and courage often move through life with more empathy, intuition, and integrity than they realize. And our world desperately needs more people like you: thoughtful, attuned, and willing to lead from a place of authenticity.
HSPs have unique paths. When you allow yourself to show up as you truly are — especially in your professional life — something powerful happens. You begin to attract the right people, opportunities, and experiences because you no longer filter or shrink yourself to fit environments that were never meant for you in the first place.
HSPs are resilient and adaptable. You are able to set clear and compassionate boundaries, and create work lives that feel joyful, grounded, and emotionally sustainable. And while sensitivity is a beautiful gift, the journey can feel overwhelming without the right support. Sometimes you simply need a thoughtful guide, steady encouragement, and reflective feedback to help you create meaningful change — in ways that honor your values, energy, and whole self.
Welcome!
I’m Kim — creator of this space and a career coach for highly sensitive professionals.
For decades, I worked in the publishing industry and held roles I was genuinely proud of. I was a book-production manager at Time Inc., wrote career and hiring advice for Monster.com, and served as a copyeditor for W.W. Norton, among other creative and challenging positions. From the outside, I looked like a confident high-achiever, and manager after manager praised my work. But inside, I often felt overwhelmed, drained, and out of place.
No matter how well I performed, the pace and pressure of traditional work environments left me depleted. I questioned why I couldn’t seem to keep up with everyone around me. I wondered what was wrong with me — and whether I would ever find a career that felt aligned with who I truly was.
That chapter of my life was filled with confusion, burnout, and a deep fear that I might never find work that felt meaningful and sustainable.
Why Career Coaching?
My turning point came when I began to understand and honor my high sensitivity — not as a flaw, but as a fundamental part of my wiring. Once I stopped fighting against my nature and instead took the time to understand and work in alignment with it, everything began to shift.
I know what it feels like to want to make a difference in the world but feel unsure, stuck, or convinced you don’t have what it takes.
I also know the relief and empowerment that come from understanding yourself deeply, building a career that supports your sensitive nature, and finally feeling confident enough to lean into your strengths.
Today, I’m grateful to work in a way that feels nourishing, spacious, and aligned — and to guide other HSPs toward the same sense of clarity and fulfillment. I have seen firsthand that when you stop forcing yourself into environments that dim your light, you naturally grow into the work you were meant for.
I believe sensitive people are capable of extraordinary things — not in spite of their sensitivity, but because of it.
You do not have to spend your life pushing through burnout or forcing yourself into roles that drain you.
You can build a gentle, nurturing career that brings you lots of purpose, meaning, and joy.
If you’re ready to explore what that might look like, I’m here to walk that path with you — with care, curiosity, and deep respect for your sensitivity and needs.
I can’t wait to see where your career journey leads you!
In support and sensitivity,
Kim

A Bit More About Me…
I live with my husband and daughter in a stone house that was built in 1710.
Our other family members include a mini goldendoodle (Moose), an adorable Pekingnese (Charlotte), three cats (Luna, Westley, and Buttercup), and a ball python (Tom, aka “Noodle”).
Our property is nestled alongside a beautiful river and nature preserve in New Jersey where we often hike, kayak, and fish.
In my downtime, I love to read, garden, and create cozy spaces.
